Association Magazine ‘Stop Message’ The first edition of ‘Stop Message’ was published in September 2009. It is very much hoped that the magazine has been of interest and welcomed by all past members particularly as much of the content was contributed by past members themselves. An electronic copy of the magazine will be available on this page in the near future. To ensure continuing benefit to paid up members publication of the electronic version on this page will delayed until the next hard copy magazine is sent to PMA members. It is anticipated therefore that the current magazine will be uploaded in December 2010. Depending very much on contributions and growth of the Association, it is planned to move towards producing up to 4 magazines per year. You can help - we do need articles, letters and photographs. We are not seeking books, a half page up to 2 pages is all we ask. Write in with your views on any matter or with your memories or anecdotes. Loan us your photographs to copy or send us scanned high resolution digital images. We would love to run a series of ‘where are they now’ articles. Those who have started a new life overseas could tell us about life in their part of the world. Anyone with a new pastime or interest? We would love to hear from you. Photographs to illustrate an article always welcomed. Send your contributions to Alan House at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service HQ, Leigh Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9SJ, or to magazine@xhfrs.org.uk. Come on, you must have at least one interesting or amusing photograph from the past and many of you will have some written memories, facts or views to share.
